WMEAC presents the Mayors' Grand River Cleanup

This is an annual river cleanup event for the Grand River and its tributaries in the greater Grand Rapids area.  Called "Mayors" because multiple municipalities are involved - aka multiple Mayors.  This is a volunteer event where individuals, small groups of individuals, community groups, school groups, businesses or non-profits may sign up.  Groups should select a specific site and date to help on or ask to be assigned one.  September 7 is start date when there is a "Kickoff" event, but any day from September 7 to September 14 may be selected.  Note this is an outdoor activity near water and in contact with trash.
